How can you make my back or neck better?
In most cases time and rest will make your back or neck better. The right products from Joanne’s Bed & Back can help you achieve comfort and relief. With proper support bodies tend to heal themselves, though we are hardly a substitute for your doctor, chiropractor, osteopath, or therapist.
What's the difference between Joanne's Bed and Back products and other beds, recliners, office chairs, car supports and accessories?
Many products for daily living use are designed for how they look rather than how they support the various parts of your body. We work with some of the top designers and manufacturers to offer products that are ergonomically sound and attractive. Ergonomics is the science of the environment adjusting to you, rather than you adjusting to the environment. All our products are manufactured with top-quality materials and to our strict standards - we don't accept substitutes. Our goal is simple -- we want you to live as free from pain free and as comfortable as possible.
Do you ship out-of-state?
Yes, we do. Generally, we charge a flat fee for mattresses and bed sets (excl. Tempur-Pedic), loungers, recliners and office chairs and partner with HomeDirect USA for delivery and set-up. Prices may vary depending on location and delivery specifications. The delivery fee for Tempur-pedic® products is $000. Smaller items such as pillows are shipping through UPS.
What is your return policy?
Our return policy is consistent with our unswerving commitment to exemplary customer service and high rate of repeat customers while respecting health and safety concerns that must always be a foremost consideration with all personal use products such as beds and mattresses. What are the benefits of a latex mattress?
Latex provides superior back support and outstanding pressure relief by conforming to your body’s shape. Our latex is natural rubber, anti-microbial and dust mite resistant, making it perfect for pulmonary allergy sufferers.
What is a Visco-Elastic memory foam mattress?
Originally developed by Swedish scientists for our astronauts at NASA, Visco-Elastic memory foam is temperature sensitive material that senses body weight and then automatically adjusts and completely supports the user.
How do I pick the right mattress for me?
To learn what's important in a mattress, just ask the Comfort Consultants™ at Joanne Bed & Back. Since the ultimate test of a mattress is your personal preference, you need to test several at one of our stores when you have plenty of time. Mattresses are engineered products with a lot of features. Our Comfort Consultants™ will show you how to evaluate which features are right for you, including materials used, size, firmness, coil count and design, covering fabric or "ticking", filler material, box spring or foundation, and price range.
How do I pick the right lounger or recliner for me?
Loungers and recliners are as varied as mattresses. We can help you determine which one is right for you. Our Comfort Consultants™ can help you select the chair that fits your needs and complements your height, weight and planned use. We can help you be sure it is wide enough, high enough in the back, has a look and color that matches your décor, and is priced within your budget.
How do I pick the right office chair for me?
The key to comfort in an office chair is adjustability. A properly adjusted chair helps maintain good posture, reduces back stress, facilitates relaxed arm placement, improves leg circulation and minimizes fatigue. Features to be considered in selecting an office chair are tilt tension, seat height, depth and angle, back height and angle, seat and arm padding. Ergonomics experts such as our Comfort Consultants™ believe that having the correct chair can add up to 40 productive minutes to the workday.
How do pick the right seat-lift chair?
For people with arthritis, osteoporosis, or any condition that makes it difficult to sit down or get up, an electric seat-lift chair is a blessing. With just the touch of a button, the chair lifts you to a standing position so you can literally walk out of it. To sit down, merely lean back against the chair and it takes you down to the sitting position. Seat and back depth and width count when choosing a seat-lift chair, or any chair for that matter, as well as firmness, fabric, overall dimensions and the room space that you'll have available.
